Some People Walk In Tattered Shoes

A young boy dropped one of his shoes and started tipping on his toes. He also started weaping because of it. And his mother took his shoe, washed it clean and put it back on his foot again. She gave him food from the food stall.

Another young boy walked next to them, begging people around him for money. He was not wearing any shoes. And he did not weap.
We offered the boy to buy him a plate of noodles. And after he had tasted our food he said it was too spicy and kept asking for money instead.
My bf tells me sometimes that "if you offer people good things they won't accept it. But if you offer bad things they will". And he has been right alot of times.

There is a song written by a swedish sing and song writer, Cornelis Vreeswijk, that goes something like "Some people walk in tattered shoes. Tell me, what's the cause of that? God, Father who lives in heaven Maybe wants it that way
? "
