Landlord Problems

"This property is in dispute in Hon'bel High Court".

Believe it or not, but this is not an uncommon problem in India.
Initially you might not give it much of thought. You might think that there is a court case between family members about who has the right to the property - a typical problem between greedy family members.

But in India, people are facing another type of real estate problem along the growing demand of having an attractive house in a good location.

Imagin, you are renting out your property for a year, and at the end of your rental agreement you tell your tenant politely that the rental agreement is about to end and you want him to move out and not to renew the contract. The rent agreement is over, notice period is given and you will get back your property. Fine.

But imagin that, for any possible reason, your tenant does not want to move out from your property, that your tenant has some powerful connections in his hand around the area and decides to file a complain angainst you as the landlord.

Now You Are basically F*ckd.
The End.
Bye, bye to your Own property.

How can this even be possible?

So, your tenant will go to court stating some bullshit reason that will be against You as the landlord, he'll put some money in someone's pocket and make sure that the court case will never get to an end. This means that your property will never be yours as long as the court case is going on.

This is a country full of corruption. And if you don't have the right connections and enough money in India anyone can easily drive you over and away.
Money and connections is the power, no matter how many good laws are there is in this country.

Imagin a family who rented out their one and only property in order to gain an income. And suddenly another person tells you that the property is no longer yours; lakhs or crores of rupees taken away from you just like that. It can ruin families. And it has.

So, what is there to do about this?
Will you still follow the law even though you know that if you do so it will ruin your life? Or, will you take the law into your own hands just like everyone else seem to do?

-The dilemma in today's corrupt society!
